Brady Turns Two~

My baby boy turned 2!! I just can't believe how fast the time has gone and how much he has 'grown up' in the last 2 years! It is just crazy to think that 2 years ago all he did was eat, sleep, and poop and now 2 years later you can have conversation with him and he understands me! It's just amazing how much they learn and develop in such a short period of time! His birth 'day' was such a great day! It fell on a Wednesday this year (the 2nd) and so even though it was my first week back to work from maternity leave my manager gave me it off so I could spend the whole day with my little guy:) I brought Rylee to daycare so Brady and I could have a play day together and that we did!!

The morning started out with me making him his favorite breakfast (waffles and he even got a little syrup on them since it was a special day):) Then we went to his 2 year check up at the doctors. Which everything looked A OK:) He weighed 31 lbs 3 oz (84% tile) and is 37.8" tall (99% tile)...so even though he is still a terribly picky eater he is obviously still growing:) Whew! His doctor said he is right on track for his vocabulary, motor skills, and development:) She was really impressed that he knows pretty much all his letters and can count to 5:) My smart little man:)! After the doctors we went to the Mall of America where we went on lots of rides! Brady was loving it and his favorite is by far the carousal. He just loves pointing to all the animals and saying what they are:) So we rode that ride 3 times so he could go on 3 different animals:) After the mall we came home ate some lunch and we both took a long nap before I picked up Rylee from daycare:)! When Kris got home from work we went out to eat at La Fonda's this little Mexican place and then got Brady a DQ cake:) It was delish and Brady even got to have a big piece and he was in heaven:)!

We had a birthday party for Brady on Saturday with all his little friends and I will post the pics from that as soon as I can. We had it at IGM Gymnastics in Burnsville and all the kids had such a wonderful time! It was a great birthday and even though Brady probably won't remember it I sure will....and thank you to my family and friends for being part of it:)! It was great and we love you!:)
