My baby girl turned 7 months old at the end of February and what a difference a month makes! She is really starting to come into her own with eating, sleeping, being social, etc. She eats 3 times a day and eats a ton!! It's funny because she is such a peanut but eats more then Brady did at this age! She pretty much likes anything but has a consistency issue and still gags on food that I do not puree really well. She loves sweet peas, carrots, pears, mangoes, peaches, yogurt, bananas, sweet potatoes, and squash. She does not like green beans, cottage cheese or straight plums (she will eat them if I make a plum/peach mix or something though). Her sleeping has gone from not so good to AMAZING this last week!! She usually has her last bottle around 8-8:30 and then falls asleep and we can even put her in her crib awake and she falls asleep on her own!! This is a huge accomplishment!! We have started laying her on her stomach and she will usually stay like that or roll to her side to sleep. Then she usually sleeps until 2am or so. We used to go in there and feed her a bottle, but the last few nights we just wait to see what she does and after about 5 minutes of babbling she just falls back asleep and then usually sleeps until 5 or 6AM. At this point we will get up and feed her a bottle and if she doesn't have to go to daycare she usually falls back asleep and sleeps until like 8:30!! Now this type of sleep schedule I can handle!!! lol!! But the biggest news that happened a few days after her 7 month birthday (3/2/12 to be exact) she got her first two teeth on the bottom! Which totally makes sense for the runny nose and endless amounts of drool these last few weeks!!
Rylee Can Do's~
Rolls over..and over...and over. Which now we have to watch her closely because she is a girl on a move. She may not crawl yet but she can roll with the best of them:)!
Likes to say "da da da" repeatedly. I don't like to think she really knows what she is saying, so I tell Kris to not think "da da da" is her first "real" word! lol!
She loves to follow her brother everywhere! And by this I mean she follows him with her eyes!! The best is when Brady doesn't know she is watching him and Rylee will just sit and stare and him with this huge grin on her face! It is really heart melting because I can just tell how much she really loves her brother and can't wait to really get to run around and play with him.
She can sit up for long periods of time now without falling over. Which is nice because she is a little bit more independent as far as her "playing" goes. Before she liked to be held A LOT (which is fine, but its hard to get anything done) but now she can just sit on the floor for 30 minutes and just have a bunch of toys by her and will just entertain herself for awhile:) But after about 30 minutes...she wants to be held again:) My little snuggle bunny:)
Awwww....LOVE the teeth! She is a sweet little lady!
